Frequently asked
Measure the height you need to reach and add a safety margin. It's recommended to choose a ladder that extends 3 feet above the working surface for stability.
A step ladder is self-supporting and is ideal for tasks at lower heights. An extension ladder, on the other hand, can be extended to reach greater heights but requires leaning against a support structure.
Regularly inspect for damage, clean off dirt and debris, and store in a dry, cool place. Avoid exposing ladders to harsh chemicals or extreme weather conditions.
We understand the importance of compliance and will work with you to ensure that all of your equipment is up to date and meets the latest safety regulations.
Yes, each ladder has a weight capacity specified by the manufacturer.
The material should be considered before install. Aluminium is generally used for indoor applications as is lightweight and easier to install. On the other hand, galvanised steel is considered more robust and weather proof, so is the most common selection for outdoor installations.
Follow the manufacturer's guidelines, maintain three points of contact, secure the ladder on stable ground, and avoid overreaching. Always use appropriate safety gear.
It's not recommended. If you must use a ladder on uneven ground, consider using a ladder leveler or a stable platform to ensure correct balance (Most of our ladders come with stabilising bars as standard). Store ladders in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If possible, hang them horizontally to prevent warping.
